The Congregation for Catholic Education, which is responsible for Catholic and ecclesiastical education in general, including schools and universities, and for assisting all the people who are involved in training processes involving younger generations, has shared with all institutions the great difficulties we have experienced this year, during which many teaching and academic activities were either suspended or canceled.
While in the some parts of the world schools and universities have resumed their activity, and in others they are coming to an end, this Dicastery of the Holy See, with this circular letter, expresses its closeness and encouragement to the families, teachers and managers, administrative staff and, above all, to students.
Education provides us with an extraordinary opportunity to revitalize the social and cultural life of all societies, and is the best investment to build our future, while educating younger generations.
